E-Commerce Manager

Position purpose

The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of ecommerce program to drive online sales and brand awareness. He/she be responsible for driving sales and increasing conversion through Merchandising, Marketing and Customer Experience philosophy development.

He/she will analyze site performance and execute digital merchandising and marketing strategies for product demand and continuous online growth and support the adoption of a customer centric mindset.



  • Responsible for product catalog management and merchandising options development;
  • Manages online merchandise presentation, and executes effective position of products based on sale, inventory, newness and trends;
  • Responsible of ongoing improvement to the website including product descriptions, images, order/hierarchy of products, partnering with the relevant stakeholders to execute site changes;
  • Stock controlling for setting up a product photo shoot and implementing promotions;
  • Leading rich content development to ensure traffic growth and conversion;
  • SEO optimized content writing and diversifying contentstrategy across multiple devices;
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO and major search engines;
  • Monitoring website usability and consumer experience in partnership with internal and external teams to improve navigation strategy and site performance;
  • Monitoring KPI’S to enhance web experience, optimize engagement and maximize conversion;
  • Works closely with marketing on the digital strategy across channels including online, mobile, emails, social, affiliates and SEM to align with company goals and vision;
  • Marketplaces scouting and management;
  • Catalogues update and digital tool providing;


Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and developed interpersonal skills;
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented;
  • Understanding of digital production and release processes, including direct experience with digital tools and technologies;
  • Analytical skills to direct and manage digital metrics, interpret data, formulate strategies and execute initiatives related to global online business growth;
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing fundamentals with knowledge of financial KSFs and KPIs, specifically focused on measuring and steering internal and external e-commerce activities.
  • Team collaboration and consensus-building skills, with ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams;
  • Readily adapt to new processes/technologies and change and help others operate flexibly;
  • Ability to work in fast pace environment;
  • The ideal candidate is passionate about luxury industry


Education & Work experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related degree;
  • 7-8 years of progressive experience in E-Commerce, Digital Marketing Projects, Site management;
  • Knowledge of Magento is mandatory;
  • Knowledge of main web platform and developing language.
